I have written stories and scripts that engage with science and heritage for the entertainment of everyday audiences.

I have seen my writing staged at Bristol Watershed, Salisbury Arts Centre, and MAST Mayflower Studios Southampton where for 2+ years I assisted then led a writing group for 15-18 year olds.

My scripts have also toured schools, care homes and community venues as part of applied theatre projects with public and charity funding.

Reviews

"It was amazing! I love the colour and the comedy, and the fact the science was woven in - it wasn't full frontal in your face, it was very delicately done, with the brilliant narrative running through it."

- Audience feedback on 'Your Brain Explained' at MAST Mayflower Studios

'A vivid and powerful play. Expertly crafted. From the outset I was intrigued about what, why, how, etc. The story itself is so poignant it left me with tears in my eyes.'

Listener feedback on audio drama 'Your Unfortunate Servants'

'The script is so funny, I don't know how I'm going to keep a straight face on stage.' 'Absolutely brilliant - a perfect blend of youth voice, history, and humour.'

Inspired by anecdotes from dementia patients and carers, a version of the play was originally staged by Theatre for Life in 2022, after which I was brought on to rewrite the script for a care home tour.
